Message from the 2021-22 President
Greetings!
I am very humble and honor to take the leadership role of HGAofCPA, a nonprofit organization under IRC Section 501 (c) (3) which promotes cultural, charitable and educational programs. My aim is to maintain, enhance, understand and appreciate Gujarati culture and language; preserve Gujarati heritage by celebrating various Gujarati events/holidays; encourage friendship among members with entertainment and sporting events; educate youth about Gujarati customs. To promote these goals, HGAofCPA holds many events, including Gujarati Plays, Diwali, Navratri, Motivational Speech, Picnics, etc. HGAofCPA basically follows the following three principles:
Connect – Provides socializing opportunity that demonstrate the traditional and cultural wealth that encourages people to remain connected with Gujaratis in Central PA and surrounding area.
Educate – Conduct events throughout the year, in which people gets opportunity to learn and explore about Gujarati culture and customs by means of socializing with others and by participating in various activities.
Celebrate – Celebrate various Gujarati festivals and invite everyone including all non-Gujaratis to join and participate.
I want all Gujarati youth to come together and support our organization. I urge them to show commitment by volunteering or joining our various program committees. I am very thankful to all committee members, without them its impossible operation. Let's connect, educate and celebrate!
