About Membership and Benefits

HGAofCPA is a nonprofit organization under IRC Section 501(c)(3) and welcomes the Gujarati community and local communities where members connect, educate and celebrate Gujarati Culture and traditions with harmony and unity. There is no contribution required to become a general member. All members are encouraged to volunteer actively to meet the organization's mission and strengthen the community. Please subscribe to our news and update emails about upcoming activities.

We encourage general members to take advantage of the Lifetime Membership opportunity. Lifetime membership shows your long-time commitment to the local community in the Central Pennsylvania/Harrisburg Area. A one-time contribution is required to become a Lifetime Member. Please fill out the Lifetime membership application form or submit the information online and mail payment to the HGAofCPA address provided below. 

All contributions to HGAofCPA are tax-deductible according to IRC Section 501 (c) (3).

All members get wide networking and volunteering opportunities throughout the year. Lifetime Members and their children get free or reduced admissions to some events. For example, in 2023, HGAofCPA offered free admissions to Members' family for a two-day event at Navratri Mahotsav and free entry to the annual picnic. These offers and benefits vary each year - like during Diwali 2020, we also distributed Mithai Boxes to all our Lifetime Members. Membership contributions are tax-exempt. 

Some restrictions and limitations apply, and benefits and offers may vary or be eliminated at any time.

Lifetime membership application form or submit membership information online After online or paper information submission, Please mail the $501.00 check payable to HGAOFCPA (or $516 online). You will receive an email confirmation once your membership is processed.
